Force and Mass

Big Al is a football player. All he loves to do is hit and tackle people. His mass is approximately 225 pounds of pure rock hard muscle. Al “forces” himself out of bed every day because he works so hard at practice. During one of his games the wide receiver from the other team was running down the line and caught the ball, when all of the sudden Big Al stopped his force from going the opposite direction. Al then started to accelerate towards the ball. When he got there he crushed the receiver changing his speed of play and physical force, therefore causing his inertia to change almost immediately. Because Big Al was accelerating at such a fast pace towards the opposing wide receiver his initial force and mass changed completely as he tackled the other player. Because of that one play made by Big Al to stop the opposing team from scoring a touchdown, his team had won the championship for the first time in 10 years!
